However, there are additional legitimate ways to earn points. Below are some methods I’ve compiled to help you accumulate points faster and redeem your favorite rewards.
Double VIP Points Events
Double VIP Points Events are among LEGO’s most popular promotions. During these events, VIP members can earn double points on select products. For example, purchasing the 60413 Fire Rescue Plane set in the U.S. typically earns you 357 points, but during a Double Points event, you'll earn 714 points!
These events usually occur three to four times a year, often around February/March, June/July, and October/November. While specific dates are hard to predict in advance, LEGO’s “Offers” page will announce the latest event details.

LEGO VIP Weekend & Star Wars Day
In addition to Double VIP Points events, LEGO offers extra point benefits during LEGO VIP Weekend and Star Wars Day, right before Black Friday.
LEGO VIP Weekend typically features double VIP points, exclusive products, and VIP reward discounts. Around May 4th each year, all LEGO Star Wars products offer double points, with a chance to get exclusive models through purchases.
If you’re a Star Wars fan, Star Wars Day is the perfect time to grab your favorite sets—not only can you earn double points, but you might also score limited-edition merchandise.
New Product Launch Promotions
LEGO also runs limited-time Double VIP Points promotions when new products are launched. Purchasing these new sets within a specific period will earn you double points.

New User Reward Activities
Newly registered LEGO Insiders can quickly earn points through simple activities:
- Completing a survey can earn 50 points.
- Following LEGO’s official Facebook account can earn 5 points.
These quick and easy activities can help new users build up their points balance rapidly.
